Rub a Dub, Dub

Nate Frazier, Nola's best buddy, drug his mommy and daddy over to our house for a playdate with Nola. It was getting late, and bedtime was near, so we thought it best to get the babies ready for bed. Here are Nate and Nola getting their bath right before bedtime.

Girls Weekend

Nola had a chance to meet mommy's college girlfriends and some of their babies. Mommy has known these girls for about 17 years now, and sure does love seeing them and catching up during Girl's Weekend!

Aeramy (who hosted the weekend) set up some babysitters to watch the wee ones while the ladies dined pool-side one evening. What a wonderful night, what wonderful friends!

Here, Nola (far right) demonstrates how a wonderfully behaved baby should pose for the camera. Luckily, Henry, Cody, Tilly and Hadley weren't paying too much attention.

We had a wonderful weekend, and look forward to next year... at which point, I plan on donating a blog picture or two to you, Erin... thanks for letting me snag your pictures!

Laundry

There are days when chores go smoothly, and there are days when Nola has to be incorporated into everything I do. The other day was one of those days...

Museum of Natural History

Today we journeyed up to Santa Barbara to go to the Museum of Natural History with our great friends and walking/strolling buddies, Melissa and Nate.

At the end of our excursion, Nate and Nola "posed" in front of the blue whale skeleton that sits in front of the museum. You can't tell from this picture, but there were two news crews documenting the dismantling of the skeleton. Oh, Santa Barbara... you're just too cute!

The Life Aquatic

Our "swim" instructor, Miss Hannah, is constantly marvelling over Nola's refusal to kick or paddle. We think most of her energies are expended in the "floating around" department.
