Treblemakers

So, by now, I think it's fairly obvious that we've been busy little bees... which is part of the reason we've been so negligent in the blogging department. I wanted to keep you all abreast of what Nola's been doing with her increasingly booked time.

Thursday mornings, Nola has been attending "Treblemakers." She and four other baby girls sit around in a circle with their mommies -- or the occasional daddy -- and try to follow along with Miss Allison, our teacher.

Here's Nola with Miss Allison. Note the stylish leggings she's wearing (thanks, Kama!)

Our Mighty Duck

Nola is officially a "Duck." It is the youngest age group of swimming classes offered through Camarillo's Parks and Rec Department. The class is pretty much 25 minutes of me holding Nola in the water and walking from one end of the pool to the next, which is pretty much the best way I could imagine spending my Saturday. Nola had a pretty sweet time, too.

Oh... 35

My birthday was last week, and Nick took the day off to do "whatever I wanted to do," so we trekked up to Santa Barbara for a hike and a picnic. It was a wonderful day for a hike, while the picnic was hijacked by some menacing ants. All in all, it was a great birthday (despite turning 35!)

Nick and Nola showcase the amazing view from atop Cold Springs Trail.

Take only pictures, leave only footprints... and a baby sock.

Our Funny Valentine

As promised here are some pictures of Nola, as Cupid, from our photo session with Nonnie. We sure do love this little angel!

Happy Valentines Day!

Dat's Wonderful!

We had some wonderful friends over for a wonderful game last Sunday. Thanks for letting us take a pic from your blog, Sarah! Nola got a head start to some sweet Saintsational dreams, and her daddy followed very close behind (although, I think the hurricanes helped with his).
